The Guarantee Information System, developed to enable the querying and tracking of information and transaction processes related to guarantees submitted to customs administrations through a single system, has been made available for use by central and regional units as of 08.12.2025.
On the Guarantee Information System, in addition to general information related to guarantee letters issued for individual, collective, and lump-sum guarantees, as well as guarantees provided in cash (guarantee type, guarantee status, date of issuance, etc.), the following information is available to the obligor: In addition to general information about the guarantee (guarantee type, guarantee status, date of issue, etc.), it is possible to access detailed data about the obligor, the guarantee amount and balance, declarations related to the guarantee, guarantees linked to warehouse codes, the customs administration where the transaction was carried out, and the bank providing the guarantee.
With this system, the tracking of guarantee transaction processes and access to guarantee information will be carried out quickly and efficiently from a single point, transaction processes will be shortened, and efficiency will increase.
In the next phase, the Guarantee Information System will be opened to the access of obligors and their representatives, enabling them to query all information and transaction processes related to their guarantees processed at customs offices in detail.
