With the amendment published in the Official Gazette dated April 17, 2026 and numbered 33227, changes have been made to the Inward Processing Regime Communiqué (Export: 2006/12), introducing the possibility of granting additional time for inward processing authorization certificates and permissions whose export commitment accounts have not yet been closed.

Within this scope, for documents issued prior to the entry into force of the amendment, provided that an application is submitted to the Ministry within 6 months from the effective date and the application is approved, an additional period equal to half of the original duration of the certificate/permission may be granted. Under general application, this additional period is limited to a maximum of 3 months; however, for goods classified under tariff headings 7108, 7112.91, and 7113.19 (precious metals and jewelry), the additional period is limited to a maximum of 1 month.

The Communiqué entered into force on the date of its publication and is enforced by the Minister of Trade.
