Authorized Customs Authorities for Products Subject to Agricultural Inspection Updated

Communication Regarding Amendments to the Communication on the Determination of Customs Administrations Authorized to Control the Entry of Certain Products Subject to Control by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and Provincial Directorates of Agriculture and Forestry Authorized to Conduct Official Controls (23.01.2026 t. 33146 s. R.G.)

With the Circular published by the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, changes have been made to the lists of authorized customs administrations for the entry of certain products subject to the control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

With this regulation, the authority statuses of some customs directorates have been updated, new customs directorates have been added to the list, and some records have been revised.

Mersin – Taşucu Customs Directorate

Its authority status has been updated in Appendix 1.

Whereas previously it had no authority in certain control areas, the new regulation makes it authorized in all control areas.

Sakarya – Karasu Customs Directorate

Entries previously listed as Sakarya Customs Directorate have been updated as Karasu Customs Directorate in the new Communiqué.

The Karasu Customs Directorate is listed as authorized in Annexes 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Adana – Gölovası Customs Directorate

It has been added as a new authorized customs directorate to Annexes 2, 3, and 4.

Some records previously listed as Çukurova Airport Customs Directorate have been revised to Gölovası.

Mersin – Çukurova Airport Customs Directorate

It has been added as a new line to the Annex-3 and Annex-4 lists.

The Circular entered into force on the date of its publication.

It is important for relevant companies to plan their selection of authorized customs administrations for the import processes of products subject to agricultural control according to the updated list.
